Hey There, I am Sofia Carter. In these circumstances, the next step is to uninstall the prior installation so that the HP driver software can be reinstalled on a clean system and the HP Printer installation failed error can be fixed. The best approach to do so is to go to Control Panel -> Uninstall (or Add/Remove programs) and uninstall the HP printer software.
